A practicing photographer for seven years, Steven Ness utilizes various techniques in his photographic art. From traditional darkroom and in-camera effects to the latest in digital re-touching he produces work for galleries, actors, models, muscians, private individuals and commercial clients.

Self-taught in Still Photography he has been involved in media and the arts since the age of sixteen. Graduating from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree he worked in the Austin Film community for three years before moving on to Los Angeles, California where he worked as a Motion Picture Camera Technician and as a Studio Manager for Commercial Photographer Gary McGuire.

Upon his return to Central Texas, he has devoted himself fully to developing his skills as a photographer and artist , resulting in his being internationally published in the fall of 2001 in a volume of nudes entitled "Naked Women" which showcased the work of photographers from 1850 to the present day and included works by Man Ray, Edward Weston, Arthur Elgort and Edward Steichen.
